History and Location
The History of the Süllberg can be traced back as far as the year 1060, when the first fortress was built on the top of the 250 ft mountain. The complex which stands on the Süllberg was built between 1887 and 1903. As early as 1850, the Süllberg was one of the most popular destinations, and its high reputation extended far beyond the city. Generations of Hamburg residents have celebrated glamorous receptions, glittering parties, weddings and family events on the Süllberg. The beauty of the posh neighborhood of Blankenese, the extraordinary location and the view across the river Elbe have always inspired poets and philosophers throughout the years.

The Hotel - Rooms & Suites
The former coach - house next to the main building was converted into eleven exclusive “Rooms & Suites”. All rooms fit in with the hotels elegant, personal style and are equipped with any desirable comfort, modern technical equipment and every conceivable luxury. From some of the rooms you can enjoy a fantastic view across the river Elbe.

Seven Seas Gourmet Restaurant
The Seven Seas is the heart of the Süllberg. An elegant ambience, fitted with the finest in furniture and tableware, provides the setting to enjoy an exquisite traditional French cuisine with influences from the seven seas of the world. Karlheinz Hauser was awarded with the renowned 2-Michelin stars. Together with his pastry chef Stephan Franz and team every customer enjoys a unique gourmet voyage.
